In the anticipation of the World Superbike 2021 and MotoGP 2022 at the Mandalika International Street Circuit, Lombok Island, West Nusa Tenggara. Angkasa Pura | Airports has done the expansion of the Lombok International Airport/LOP/WADL infrastructures. 

The runway is now 3,300 meters –by far 5th longest runway in Indonesia, the apron expanded to facilitate the parking of wide body aircrafts, and the cargo area also been upgraded to support the expected logistic of the events. Among all other upgrades in the passenger areas.  

The World Superbike will be held on 19-21 November 2021, which will be the last race for 2021 series. Out of the Circuit’s total capacity of 195,700, only 25,000 spectators are allowed. In respect to the pandemic, with strict health protocols in place. 

The next bigger event of MotoGP 2022 has been scheduled in March 2022, with hundreds of thousands spectators expected. 

These prestigious events Organized by Mandalika Grand Prix Association, a business unit of Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation. 

Surrounded by beautiful views of hills and beaches, the Mandalika International Street Circuit has 4.31 kilometers in length with 17 corners. Situated within 1,035 ha of the Special Economic Zone (KEK), which aims to restore the economy of West Nusa Tenggara post 2018 earthquake, as part of the government’ project of “New Bali”.
